I can't figure out why it's written 14Mar2016 over there (how I write my checks) and US writes Mar 14, 2016, when numerically it's written your weird way. It's logical to say "today is the fourteenth". Spock would concur; illogical to speak today is the third month and 14 days. It's those darned words--messes up everyone!
C'mon, we ALL know there are only 12 months, not like Obama and his 57 States HAHAHAHA
