Thumbs up Honoring AMT's (May 24)

"AMT Day May 24, is a day to honor the professional men and women who ensure the safety and security of our airborne aviation infrastructure, and recognize the life and memory of Charles E. Taylor, the aviation maintenance technician who built and maintained the engine that was used to power the Wright brothers first controlled flying machine on December 17, 1903."
--US House of Representative Resolution April 30, 2008

We salute and thank all the AMT's that keep aircraft flying safely and reliably every day.

You might be an aircraft mechanic if.....

You've been couched down fixing a seat only to glance up and see pax boarding.

You know what Skydrol tastes like.

You have a better bench stock in the pockets of your uniform than the supply system

You've slept on concrete under a wing

you've said, "yes, it's suppose to look like that."

your tool box at home has wheels

    Thanks for getting them ready.
    Keep'em Flying
