Thread: Dilemma At The Airport

Recently a pax traveling through EWR stopped to buy a sandwich and a bottle of water. It was at the self-checkout machine where our pax faced a dilemma, on the screen was the question:

" Would you like to tip?" Options - NO TIP/15%/18%/20%

Our pax was surprised and did what most people would do when faced with a problem of kiosk etiquette, she posted the question to Twitter. Now as one that does use self check-out and sometimes remembers to bring a reusable bag, I do not tip machines, I tip myself-cash, besides I don't think machines get to keep the money anyway.
So fellow non-revs - Do/Would you tip a machine?
