Thread: How to upload a picture

Here's what I'm doing:

Then this window pops up.

I'm posting this as a "non admin", regular user, with the same rights as everyone else.

So, I'm officially stumped.

where's the "editor" tab?

Not sure what you mean by "tab".

By "editor" I mean the little text editing box I'm typing in now. This thing:



That's at the bottom of the page, or you can click "Reply" or "Reply with Quote" to get one. The "Advanced" editor is similar, just more buttons and more space to type.

I finally got it.

It appears that nobody had the "Enhanced' editor.

I'd have fixed it sooner, but nobody really came right out and said: "I can't see that toolbar with the icons on it". Argh
That said, people were uploading pictures without it, I just didn't have any good instructions for them.

If you had trouble before, log out, then log back in, and you'll see the icons depicted below, and be able to click the little picture icon:

Hey all, I'd love to help, but I need a little more detail to do so. This seems to be tricky in that it works for many with no issues, as you can tell from the contest thread. Then others say it doesn't work, then later they are able to post photos.

So, I suspect there's a mix of some real problem, and then also an interface that's hard to understand?

Anyhow, I need a little more detail. What kind of PC ( WindowsXP? Vista? Windows 7? Mac? ) and what browser/version ( IE6? IE7? IE8? Safari? Google Chrome? Firefox ?). Also, knowing the steps you took and buttons you clicked would help.
