After a number of years being left out of ZED agreements with most other carriers (exception being LAN, Pluna and some other small regional) DL and LH employees can now purchase ZED fares with AR and vice versa. More may follow later, now that they're back in IATA's good books. Now whilst LAN Argentina covers most of the domestic routes, its always nice to have back ups. Ushuaia, El Calafate, Iguazu anyone? Spoke with an AR agent and he was quite excited about being able to non rev again outside of their own network. But like I said its for now just LH and DL

awesome!!! as much as I hate the retaliation battle for Brazilian/US visas, I can now see Iguacu on the Argentine side--and eat some steaks in BA on the way!! hoooraaay!

PS--I just looked it up and we've had a zed agreement with them since Dec. Guess I never noticed it
