Does anyone know how Delta flight loads generally are in and out of Guatemala City around Christmas? I think I fly S3B (new to Delta system, don't know for sure yet). I'm considering joining a church group for a mission trip and am wondering if this is one of those cities that is particularly difficult to non-rev in and out of. Trip dates are Dec 27-Jan 6. Right now I'm thinking of flying in Dec 25 and leaving GUA before Jan 6.

Any input is much appreciated. Thanks!

I think that's the correct designation for non-dependant
Major issue would be, besides the holiday (Christmas Day travel is usually good choice, particularly a Catholic nation) would be CARGO, so keep track of those warnings and luggage embargoes (carry-on ONLY sometimes for nonrevs)
I'd be very cautious about the return date and prepare to be flexible (I think you may have option to "buy your way out of the country" using Spirit one way?
    if you get stuck.)
I went last summer and the airport must be all grown up by now.
