    yes--in DC.
    You can take your ID and a copy of the DL printed itinerary. I took the listing for my flights and 2 copies of my husband's ID for both visas. I would be certain of all your details because Houston Brasilian Consulate is notorious for being very difficult. You might want to contact the company AA uses (DL uses CIBT and their extra fee isn't too high). I have their info if you need it. You r visa is only good for 90 days. Remember it's only good from day of issue to the end (not entry date), so plan accordingly.
    Don't forget Carnival is in March next yr. nonrev is a b!tch
    PS--I can't recall, but I think I had letter signed by Chief Pilot that basically asks them to extend courtesy as airline employee travel is unticketed...?
