I bought two visa's for Brazil at a hundred bucks a pop, and never got to go back. My five year visa was taken along with my expired passport about a year or two later. Isn't that for the birds? They don't transfer a good visa to a new passport. Not all is good down in Brazil these days. Something neat about foreign newspaper, they tapped on a famous artist that lived in Brazil, where they house his collection in Rio somewhere. They had a neat article on ESCHER, the artist from Holland. Go online and check out some of his work. I never heard of the man, but they had an article about him along with his most famous work..."relativety", if you like art, you will like this web site...all from a Brazilian newspaper.
