Couldn't find any previous topics covering this but are there any interline type agreements with Amtrak?
I've looked for this all around the internet and not really found anything. Airliners.net had a bit about it in a forum but it just quickly descended into a flame war (surprise!). That's what I like about this place, no one gets out of handOriginally Posted by K9Sports
The only rail discount I get is on the airport express at LHR haha
A little off topic but Amtrak has good student discounts. Also last minute fares are not too bad so if you get bumped off a flight but need to get there ASAP Amtrak can be a good backup.
I went on Amtrak last fall and asked the conductor about it. He said they didn't even get a discount on Amtrak.
