Default Four Seasons Opens this Summer in MCO(Disney)

Four Seasons Resort Orlando has confirmed it will open at Walt Disney World Resort in summer this year.
Offering luxurious accommodations, dining par excellence, a sumptuous spa, extensive light-filled meeting and celebration spaces, the location will add a new dynamic to the park.
Located just minutes from the Magic Kingdom Park Epcot, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios – and easily accessible to numerous area attractions – Four Seasons Resort Orlando is a place where every experience can be customised and personalised, whether staying as an individual guest or part of a group.
“The family trip of a lifetime, a dream wedding, great golf or spa weekends, a well-executed conference participants will be talking about for years to come – that’s the vision that is driving everything as we build Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort,” said regional vice president and general manager Thomas Steinhauer.

Does this mean it will be on property?

The Four Seasons is inside the resort property. It’s part of a hotel/golf/luxury single family homes community-Golden Oak . BTW, Golden Oak is the name of the Disney ranch here in California.

When I visited Disney World (years ago) we stayed at the Caribbean Beach hotel.
Pros to staying on property - the Disney transportation system -kids can hop a bus to/from the park and you can stay in bed and sleep. Great pools
Cons- expensive food. Those same kids that ride the bus also like loads of snacks.

Pros: extra magic hours and convenient transportation cons: expensive hotel compared to off property. expensive food if you buy lots of goodies but that can be handled with snacks you bring with you. I haven't stayed off property for years. I go every year at least once so I was bummed when they eliminated the non rev discount.

The on property hotels gave approximately 40% discount - even on the lowest price resorts - until last January. I used to pay between $70-90 per night to stay at a value resort. This year it will be $120 for the same room.
