    I have a Zed fare LAX SYD does UA ever upgrade pass riders to business or first class

    If you don't have a C-class ZED, I wouldn't count on it. Even if you do, you'd be lucky to get that seat.

    That said, if there are only F or C class seats left at the last minute, then maaaaybe you'll get lucky. It would take a miracle, though.

    Very much a miracle. That flight is ALWAYS full in F and C.
