I am pretty sure they started doing this a few years ago but just wanted to verify if United has a lot of upgrading passengers on domestic flights?
I am wondering because there are 3 of us flying with 3 seats up front and 3 in back and I do not really want to list for 1st due to extra charges and the refund hassles if we end up in coach.
