Just my luck it would be a Wed/Thurs night I want to leave BAH! I'd arrive on CX around 8pm then be trying the BA and/or GF LHR flights. Have you flown Gulf Air?

If those are full I might try my luck with KLM. Last time they upgraded me on staff travel, and I have a friend at CX in AMS I wouldn't mind meeting for a coffee between flights. Will come down to loads though in the end.

Dreamflight seems quite interesting - I haven't heard of it but I just checked out the site. So do BA offer a plane and services or do you wet lease it through fundraising? How did you get involved?

We seem to do a lot of local charity work in HKG for children who live on Lantau island where the airport is. The latest I think was when we took some of them for a flight in one of our new 777-300ERs around HKG. Staff do English speaking courses once a week at CX City as well I think, and cargo aid shipments sometimes. A lot happens at the hub, but doesn't appear as much at the spokes.

Out of curiosity are you British or Bahraini?
