Ditto for Texas. Mountains, shoreline, tornados, hurricanes, blizzards, heat waves, but not around Houston. Except for the hurricane one.
Some interesting temperature averages on the hottest months. Death valley is right there, but who lives there. Notice population difference between Death Valley and the next hottest place, Kuwait City. I don't know if I should count Death Valley, considering there must be points in the Arabian Peninsula that soar way above that.
