About LinkBacksI agree, there are some seriously nasty hot places here in the USA particularily in the Gulf states, and western part of the USA. There is that 123 degrees in the shade, but what is it when you work in it in the sun???

Ditto for Texas. Mountains, shoreline, tornados, hurricanes, blizzards, heat waves, but not around Houston. Except for the hurricane one.
Some interesting temperature averages on the hottest months. Death valley is right there, but who lives there. Notice population difference between Death Valley and the next hottest place, Kuwait City. I don't know if I should count Death Valley, considering there must be points in the Arabian Peninsula that soar way above that.

Kuwait City August 112 F
Dhahran July, 109.9 F
Dubai July, August 103 F
Phoenix July 102 F
