My husband and I went to Australia last year in Feb. We went to the visitor's center in Sydney and bought a Sydney pass for 7 days that would let us take a tour of the city,the outer edge of the city, transportation on the city buses , the ferries, and a train that took us up to the blue mountains.
Being senior citizens we felt safe on all our outings...We did always want to be back by early evening...we were tired and did not know the different areas of the town. Bus service is very good and we used it to get from our hotel to the center of the city.
Sydney is a very interesting city and we truly enjoyed our time there.
We took a cruise ship over to New Zealand and then on to the Hawaiian Islands. Our 11 days in Sydney and the 30 days on the ship made for a wonderful vacation that we will always remember...
