Whoa--maybe you need to take deep breath.
You ass umed correctly that I have never served in the armed forces.
Now, why are you verballyattempting to rip me a new one, when all I asked was if anyone had taken the tour? FYI--hundreds of people go on that tour each day. If you haven't taken the tour, why reply in such a caustic manner?
I am planning to visit the River Kwae while I am in Thailand, to see an historical place and pay my respects to the POW's burried there (as well as the thousands of Thai and Burmese locals who died).
Do you want to voice your opinion on that tour, as well? Do you object to me going there? While I can't go back in time and experience duty on the DMZ, I can open my mind and educate myself.
Do you have any particular advice about other thing you want me to do while in Seoul?
I'd be happy to explore those ideas. Thanks for the ass istance.
Oh, I forgot--my husband served 6+ years in the Navy flying F14's. I was not involved in that part of his life, but we both find military and historical sights very educational. I like being able to share that with him now.
Thank you for your service to our country.
