NRT for one day only? Stay in the airport. They have rooms there you can use, you put your name on a list, these cubicals with shower, small bunk. About 5 bucks an hour, but probably more now. (This was about ten years ago.) I used them alot to break down my trip a little, and get a hot shower before the long flight back to Conus. What's in NRT for a day? You just want to ride around? I know they have some aviation museum there in the airport. NRT is MAD, CRAZY, BUSY. Noone does English too well, and I don't do Japanese the same. Beer cost big bucks there in Japan. So does EVERYTHING ELSE.
