Default Virgin Atlantic Drops HKG-SYD Route Due to Profitability

Virgin Atlantic is dropping all service to SYD due to increasing costs. The carrier will drop the HKG-SYD extension on May 5.

    The airline issued this statement:
It is with regret that Virgin Atlantic has announced, its intention to withdraw operations between SYD and HKG from May 5, 2014, due to increasing costs and a challenging economic environment.

However, Virgin Atlantic will continue to operate services, between LHR - HKG.
