    Default ANZ Adds AKL - IAH



    Air New Zealand has announced it will expand its North American presence by opening a fifth gateway this December. The airline will soon provide nonstop service between IAH - AKL, 5x weekly.
    Air New Zealand’s will utilize a Boeing 777-200 aircraft on the route. Air New Zealand’s Star Alliance partner UA, which has a large Houston-based hub, will code share into IAH from numerous North American cities. IAH provides nonstop service to almost 200 airports around the globe (113 domestic U.S. destinations).

    Dangit, that was supposed to be our route!

    With that said, that will make IAH one of a few airports to have service to all continents (Antarctica doesn't count )... UA already flies to DFW, NRT, LHR, SCL, and LOS from IAH. Obviously some continents have more destinations, but just to prove my point
