I am thrilled about this, but unfortunately, I didn't run into any of them this summer when I was up there and you can only get them in the Middle Atlantic states. Who knows, maybe gives me more excuse and reason to go to the area just to hit up on those burgers once again.

Maybe I'm just too young, but I've never heard of Gino's. The only Geno's I know of is across the street from Pat's in south Philly (Pat's is better, btw).

Anyhow, being as this is right in my back yard, I'll be sure to find a Gino's and try one in the next couple weeks.

Ginos, not to be confused with PAPA GINO'S which is a pizza joint chain in Boston nor GENO'S philly cheesesteaks. Gino's hamburgers. They used to be a famous hamburger joint in the DC, Baltimore areas. 60's and 70's. They have a store locator on the link I pasted. I liked Gino's the best when I was a kid. It was located on University Boulevard right near four corners, between my school and where I lived. I remember many a guys cutting class and and hangin out at Gino's. Now its something different. I think something like Larry's Subs or something. Their burgers kicked Mcdonalds butt all over town. Go with the GINO'S GIANT! (sirloin with cheese)

Looks like they're right off the turnpike in King of Prussia. I'm headed to PHL today, but unfortunately won't have time to stop there. I'll try to get there next time I'm in PHL or the Towson one next BWI trip

I know I wasn't dreaming this. This is the best hamburger I remember as a kid, here is a good commercial of the 100 percent sirloiner burger from Gino's. Gino's commercial 1970s - YouTube I was browsing through the modern version of the menu, and they have alot of different things on the menu. Probably not the same burger of the 60's and 70's but I would be willing to check them out. And it kills me to see that sirloin burger cost 75 cents back in those days. Now, can't touch one for under five bucks at Gino's.

Everything is getting too expensive! Just spent almost 6 bucks on a crappy sandwich at a truck stop in rural Kentucky at 3am today..

Of course, I'm talking of when back in the day, pack of cigarrettes were probably 30 cents a pack. Why would a 75 cent hamburger of 1970 not cost 5 bucks today?
