If wife gets it, more power to her.

Nooo Palms not one dime, I was “randomly” selected. I printed out my NRSA, and there in corner was the TSA Pre-check logo. I breezed through security - shoes on.

GE is not expedited customs--it's expedited immigration (passport control) and expedited customs in one program. I arrived JFK yesterday and they had a dozen kiosks for GE. Opened passport, scanned it and 4 fingerprints (good thing they didn't need my thumb, since I only have half!) Answered a few onscreen q's and moved on. Gave up my receipt. When I passed thru, I looked back at a line that might take 30-60 min to complete the normal process. Done in 60 seconds! I have a renewal coming up for GE and my platinum Amex card will pay for it--woohoo! Hard to believe I've had it for almost 5 years. Worth every penny of my initial $100. Since we never check luggage, we have no waiting for bags. We can be at the next gate in about the same time it takes pax to claim bags and begin the process we just completed.
