Another salvo fired in the battle with Alaska Airlines ?
With the timing of the flights it is going to require two aircraft to service the sequence instead of a turn around service with just one.
Instead of having aircraft sitting around at each end idle this works in that respect.
It may be a problem with crew logistics - 5 and half hours WB and 5 hours EB - FAs OK but pilots would be
pushing the duty time envelope.
So this is a great deal for us non-revs.
Gives another set of options to get from A to B albeit via YVR (a near miss for SEA)!
