This is my first time on this site and not sure if you can help me on this topic. My husband and I are traveling to France, UK and Scotland in September and I was wondering if airline employees receive any discounts on train travel. Please reply with any information you may have regarding this request.

I think you have to go thru an interline agency to get discount tickets. The following is the only one I'm aware of. If you call them maybe than can point you to someone who does the continent.
For the UK check out www.interlinersbritain.com for Britrail. They have discount tickets. If you don't get any other responses then post your query to Nic on the London thread.

I don't think you can get a discount on trains. Here are afew websites with railpass info:

Don't forget that Eurail is not accepted in the UK; you'll need a Britrail pass.
