Eastern Europe Road Trip Anyone?
Flying UA from LAX to FRA (via SFO, IAD, or ORD depending on which is better) and planning on leaving Dec 23 if loads permit. Maybe 24. For a road trip with a semi-planning route of FRA to Czech, Poland (aushwitz), Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Slovania, Austria, and maybe Venice, Italy before heading back to FRA via Munich for a flightback around Dec 30th.
Anyone interested in joining this whirlwind road trip?
K9, do you realize that you will be spending all of you time driving...in winter? You'd be lucky to avoid a lot of snow and ice. You won't be able to see anything other than roads.
Why don't you non-rev FRA to PRG and a couple other places? Why not take trains? Lastly, you might have difficulty renting a car that you are (legally) able to drive into all those countries.
