    Default United Kingdom Departure Tax

    Hi all,

What's the latest on the UK departure tax? Is it still cabin dependent (premium versus coach) or is it a flat rate? I thought I heard that it had moved to a flat rate, but I can't find it listed anywhere on Her Majesty's web site.

    Thanks,

    QP

It is still cabin-based. However UA negotiated an exemption for UA employees traveling NRSA on UA to pay the Economy rate regardless of the cabin seated in. Revenue (including those who upgraded) and mileage award ticketed passengers pay based on the cabin seated in.
