We too have been put through extra security when my husbund has had his badge in plane view... but least we forget the bombers got a hold of uniforms and id. The system is in the mist of over haul . I too have been searched , had the contents of my purse dumped wallets opened been the shoe bomber . The worst is pwm the took bic lighters off us , went through newspapers page by page, pulled me to have a felmale search me ( my bra keep setting off the alarm( dam those under wires) searched me head to toe at the check point and then again before boarding. I guess since it was point of entry they are tighter. It is by no means uniform arcoss country and I want to belive it will get better in coming months so I just grin and bear it.
