Delta's NewsDigest currently is working on a feature about nonrev travel. While we'll include the latest and greatest tips from the pass bureau, what we really need are your stories.

Your help with the following questions would be great:

    * What are some of the most exotic places you've been? How did you get there?
    * Any tips that would be useful in traveling to places outside Delta's network?
    * Any "war stories" of nonrev travel experiences that may have added a few grey hairs to your head?

Please email your responses to reid.davis@delta.com. **If you post them to this forum, please be sure to also email them to me.**

I have heard from a few forum participants, but need to hear from a few more to make this work. My deadline is extremely tight -- I need to hear from you no later than Tuesday, Aug. 6, to make the story, and sooner than that, if possible.

    Best regards,
    Reid Davis

This was back in the 80's, but I was able to go to Iquitos(iqt) Ecuador.(Think I got spelling right) This is a city of approx 350,000 people on the Amazon River. From there I went by boat to the Amazon Safari camp back deep in the jungle.I think the boat trip was around 3 hours or so. I can tell you it is another world down there. Everyone needs to go there one time. The sights & sounds of the Amazon are something else. Spent the night at Holiday Inn-Iquitos(very nice) then flew to Lima stayed at downtown Sheraton-Lima. What a difference the jungle to the capitol city.
My trip orginated in Miami on Faucett Airlines, and entire trip on Faucett. I was able to ride in the jumpseat of the Faucett 707 over the Andees at night AWSOME! and a beautful landing in Lima.
I have my aircraft dispatchers license so was able to ride up front..I hope this helps a little.

Thanks Paul! Any other DL folks want to weigh in before I sit down to write this thing?
