Interesting technique Palms, but I think that approach will only get you a no recline seat next to the lavs and possible a black eye; besides you didn't mention the OneWorld theme. Actually a friend of mine did get an upgrade on BA once, but they didn't do a thing; (they were dressed nicely) just chalked it up to luck and timing.
