I have a Delta Companion pass. Using TravelLine, I listed and then when it asked about paying I said something like "pay now" (I probably should have said "yes") anyway I think it didn't understand and put me through to a reservation agent. I told her I needed to pay for my yield fare ticket and she told me to call a certain number (which just turned out to be the TravelLine number). All TravelLine wants to do is list me on another flight. I can't seem to get anywhere on there, where it will let me pay for an already listed flight. I called reservations again with my confirmation number and asked to pay but they just promptly connected me back to TravelLine. So I am going in circles. I can't seem to find a way to pay for my own ticket. Is there one?

I used my pass once about 4 years ago. I listed and then just drove to a local Delta ticketing counter and payed (but that place is no longer there). I can drive to the airport but I'm not sure if as a non-rev I can go up to a ticketing agent to pay. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. I would LOVE to start to travel.

you and the travel line acted correctly, if you choose the pay now option it transfers you too a res agent, they are supposed to pull up your pnr and charge the card...sounds like you got a few of our res folks who dont know about the changes to the travel line...the other is just paying at the airport when you arrive to travel...

I have a question about the travelline as well - how the heck do you get a quote for a yield fare or check your pass allotment, or anything besides list for a flight? I find the VRU to be horrible to navigate - does anyone have a list of shortcuts for how to get out of the listing menu?

I also got transferred to a Delta Agent who took over 15 minutes to get me a quote on a one-way yield fare.

I see that you're a non-dependent child of an employee. The employee can do the purchase for you on TravelNet if necessary and you can also find out your allotments for the year or quotes, etc. on that.

I never checked but I wonder if non-dependent children can get access, themselves, to TravelNet?

Thanks for the reply - no, only the employee or retiree can get access to travelnet. I've been non-revving for years and the old phone line was used by both employees and non-dependents and you could check all that stuff. When they launched the new website, they changed the phone line to the VRU, and I haven't found it very useful in terms of doing research - especially not being able to get a fare quote.
