Z, Sorry for the belated reply. I think I've done JFK-NCE-JFK 3 times non-rev: once in fall 06 (mid-Sept to end Oct), no problem, then last May 20 eastbound, no problem, but didn't even try the July 1 return. Finally last fall, Oct 7 or so to Nov 10, no problem. Now we're trying again for May 15, returning July 1, but it doesn't look good going over, and I will (like last summer) be using a confirmed LCC Nce-Ams because my carrier NW as lots of flights out of Ams. If we happen to get two seats NCE-JFK that day, we'll take them and just loose the $150 LCC fare. All this rigamarole because KLM doesn't allow non-rev parents which is what we are. Hope this helps.
