Thanks Z, I'd heard a rumor but so far there's nothing up on GoZed. I'm planning a trip for March and wanted use DL as back-up.
How's this for a dilemma, would I rather be stuck in DFW or ATL.

It is in today's Jetnet. I have never been to ATL but I know it has a bad reputation. Depending on where you go, if you leave from LAX you better of going through JFK (if the weather is ok).

This is excellent news! I flew Delta from ATL to MIA last year since they have late flights to MIA. It was an ID90 fare which wasn't that cheap.
But the nonrev experience on Delta was good. The agents and flight attendants treated me well!

I was surprised about that ATL statement as well. I've never heard about a "bad reputation". I guess the size can be daunting but it's a perfectly simple and logical lay out. Guess I'm not that objective though since it's where I live.

I should have mentionned the TSA and the way immigrationis handled at arrival.
I have heard some horror stories but maybe they are false.

Through my airline NW I have gotten many ZED tickects for Delta flights, and my experience as a non-rever with Delta has always been great. Mostly JFK-NCE-JFK, and once BDL-LAX (now defunct), always top-notch, and more often than we deserve up front. How will things shake out after the merger? Who knows, but I suppose it will then be easier for me to check loads on DL than it is now.
Hal when did you try JFK/NCE? Was it in the low season or in summer?

Hal,
beginning may 6th NWA employees will have access to our TravelNet phone line to check loads before calling reservations to actually list...
