I'm a 9E parent, with some of DL ZED experience, primarily JFK-NCE-JFK, and once BDL-LAX (when that was still available). My experience has been that DL has always tried to make room up front for us when possible. Out of about 10 flts, I'd guess we've lucked out maybe 4 times. Btw, I'm curious how thngs will be after the NW-DL merge..looks like we may get LESS chance of upgrading on what are now DL flts, because NW almost never upgrades us. Can't complain, though, non-rev is still a wonderful privelege no matter what class.
