About LinkBacksI hear all the time about the high taxes leaving LHR. Are these taxes just for leaving or are there high taxes for entering? I'm considering flying nonstop to LHR but leaving from a different airport.

Most taxes, including the UK APD, are departure taxes but there are some arrival taxes as well. The US International Transportation tax (USD16.70) applies on departures AND arrivals to the US. The MX Toursim tax (USD21.95) applies to arrivals into Mexico. There are more, but not many.Originally Posted by MRSDS1DONNA
