In Europe MAD seems to be among the lowest. After LHR, AMS, FRA and CDG (if you fly in J or F) are quite high...

MXP shows being only $36 for us....not bad at all!
I am shocked at FRA!! What happened? When I went a few years ago, it was only around $60 and now it shows as $131. Ouch!
I had heard CDG was more for J and F, but how do they do that? Do they collect it at CDG? If I make a dummy listing in J class, it shows it being $66.

Is LHR a lot more? I know usually they are pretty similar at most airports in country since usually it is a Gov't tax. One thing in the UK, they did reduce BFS since it was just too punitive for that airport.

Oh well, just another part of non-revving that has changed!

I just left FRA yesterday, it was 80 Euros - $110. As for Germany in general, I went to Berlin in Oct 2010 and it was around $30 bucks, which it had been for a quite a few year, same with FRA. Went again in April, and it was $90! Now it is $110! Looks like Spain wins at around 10 Euro. For Paris, at least for CO, they collect the taxes at the gate once you have been cleared. It is quite a slick operation actually. Was there in June, and the flight was a S#@$ Show, the called people one by one, and forced everyone else to stay away from the mini ticket counter near the gate. It was 50 something Euro, so about what your dummy booking showed.
