Can anyone help me find out what it would be for LHR-IAH. I'm very new to this and can't seem to find it on the continental employee res site.
Should be about the same just for the taxes/security fees one way, no matter the carrier. We don't pay any extra for upgrades, so our total shows $130. That's the GB departure tax, security, etc. I just used LHR/DFW for comparable.

remember one thing if you connect or have a stopover of less than 24h, and take the airline you work for to your final destination, show your boarding pass some departure taxes should be waived.
It will only work with your airline because all the ZED include all the taxes (except for countries which are still collecting them) and these cannot be refunded.
ex
ATL/LHR pn DL LHR/IST on TK you cannot escape the taxes from LHR
IST/LHR on TK connecting to LHR/ATL on DL if you are a DL employee you should get some taxes waived by showing the agent your TK boarding pass proving that you are connecting, in case of doubt and taxes showing up keep it and contact your travel bureau

is that per person on top of what you pay for the flight?
DL employees don't pay for flights, but if our buddy pass riders fly, they pay mileage + that amount. That is per person. The GB departure tax out of LHR is HIGH. It's slightly less to leave from LGW

Scubajen,
Are you an employee of CO? If so, you shouldn't have any trip pass fees, unless you are taking BusinessFirst and not on a vacation pass. As for the departure tax, you are right, there isn't any place it is specifically listed on mycoair. Unfortunately they change frequently. One kind of backdoor way to figure it out is to try and make a booking on the interline fare calculator which can be accessed from the employeeres page. When you look at the breakdown of the ZED fare price, it shows the intl taxes. I just looked for LHR-IAH and it is around $140 dollars or 88 GBP. They don't charge based on cabin anymore out of LHR. Sadly, this charge is per person, regardless of the way you are ticketed and usually is paid at the airport, but for LHR, it is actually one of the only stations that I know of that payroll deducts. Let me know if you have any departure tax questions. I have a good idea as to what they are in most places, as Mrs767 does as well! Safe travels,
Nick
I was heartbroken!!! AND I'm OUT of both sweet and hot paprika!
Boss told me but I thought he meant HIS base and A/C. It's a pretty easy zed from CDG--I've done CVG/CDG then right off to BUD in no time (carry-on, of course)
We're hoping to make BUD a side Eu visit with some countryside like Lake Balaton etc. Maybe some otehr towns near BUD to add.

You and me both!
I literally felt my heart sink to my stomach when I read that.
There are many flight reductions in 2012 across the pond but this one hurts the most, lol!
I was shocked at all the cuts in ATL.
What are they going to do with all the extra aircraft?
I don't see any additions anywhere else to make up for the losses.
