I have access to Delta, USAirways and Continental airlines employee travel sites and no I can't find that information. I am an employee! Do you know any of those site's and where can I find the departure tax for LHR. What would be great a site that might a list of all the international cities that charge departure tax and how they are figured.
I non-rev to Madrid three years ago on USAirway and Continental without be charged a tax. So I was supried recently t ofine out many European cities charge a tax,
Thanks
Indy
Delta employee site has travelnet--all the calculations are available there. You make a dummy booking and cancel after you get the price. I think you got lucky on the Madrid trip--you were also supposed to pay US fees/taxes, too.
here's and example of Malaga fees. Some cities have a separate departure tax on the ticket, some you have to pay at the airport prior to check-in. No cost for mileage.
AGP / JFK Spain Passenger Service Charge Liability 10.47 AGP / JFK Animal Health Inspection Tax Payable 5.00 AGP / JFK Immigration Service Fees Payable 7.00

Your correct ....... I booked a dummy reservation via travelnet and your correct.
It would be nice if their were a website to compare prices. It amazing the difference between LHR... FCO..and...TLV as a sample.
Thanks
In Europe MAD seems to be among the lowest. After LHR, AMS, FRA and CDG (if you fly in J or F) are quite high...
PRG is also a bargain.
Budapest is less than PRG!! at least it used to be--I think they're withing a few dollars now

Can anyone help me find out what it would be for LHR-IAH. I'm very new to this and can't seem to find it on the continental employee res site.
Should be about the same just for the taxes/security fees one way, no matter the carrier. We don't pay any extra for upgrades, so our total shows $130. That's the GB departure tax, security, etc. I just used LHR/DFW for comparable.
