I've always figured that (with a few exceptions) if you're staying in your hotel room long enough to justify paying for a really nice place, you're doing it wrong. Spend the money on a bed that will keep you pretty well rested in a reasonably clean room, and beyond that get what's cheap.

And don't forget about that pesky resort fee, at the Cosmopolitan it's $25 a day
