    I didn't realize that it didn't go to LGW. Does he need to reserve the coach in advance? How hard is it to go into central London and change to a train? He'll have time but I have no idea how much yet. This was all planned long distance while he was still overseas.

    Sorry for the late reply ... we've been a bit busy over here at Heathrow !!
    Normally there is no need to reserve the coach unless you hit the peak season.
    Travelling into London and changing to the train at Victoria is pretty painless.
    Transiting between the airports is a pain .. can you not fly into LGW??
