It appears to me that you pretty much have the perfect spot. It's either in or near Bonaventure. Approx 15 miles from Ft. Lauderdale airport. Even though I ,ve never been there I feel there is no way you can go wrong on this catch. I may have to try this my self.
Also if you like Conch Chowder & Bimini bread. The best on the planet is a place called Ernies BBQ . It's on US 1 approx 1 to 1 1/2 mi. North of FLL on the left. My old stomping ground. You can go to Google &type in Ernies BBQ and get lots of info if interested. Enjoy your trip.
