I spent many years in Miami and love it. I am employed by USAIRWAYS. I am also a former police officer and would be glad to answer questions about personal safety or Miami
or what ever I can help with.

Paul,
Hello from the other end of the State. It is nice to have another "local" USAirways person on the board.
By the way, can you also give info on the Keys? In our old forum, the Keys were a hot spot. It will be great to have an expert in that area.
Feel free to contact me in Pensacola dialnet if you have any questions on this site or being a Corrspondant.
Welcome again.

Hello to all & thanks for the welcome. Just got back from Key Largo. You ask about info on the keys. Dont make the mistake I did going down. I drove US 1 all the way from Miami. A long hard way to go. Take the Fl. turnpike to US1 then continue down.

Hi gwenus,

I haven't seen Paul around in a while but I sent him a message to see if he still wants to participate as a Correspondent. You might give it a couple of days and if we don't here back, I'd just start a new topic in North America with your FLL question. Chances are someone will respond.

Hi Paul. Thanks for reply. I managed to catch an ID90 deal at Weston at Vacation Village. Checked trip advisor and most reviews are good. Do you know Weston? I've got a couple of kids in their late teenage years who love mucking about in the pool. My doughter likes shopping and my son likes water sports. My husband just likes lounging by the pool! Florida seems like a good bet for all those things in Mar and as the exch rate for my GBP is good I can't think of a better place to visit as we all really love your country and the Floridians are so friendly.

It appears to me that you pretty much have the perfect spot. It's either in or near Bonaventure. Approx 15 miles from Ft. Lauderdale airport. Even though I ,ve never been there I feel there is no way you can go wrong on this catch. I may have to try this my self.
Also if you like Conch Chowder & Bimini bread. The best on the planet is a place called Ernies BBQ . It's on US 1 approx 1 to 1 1/2 mi. North of FLL on the left. My old stomping ground. You can go to Google &type in Ernies BBQ and get lots of info if interested. Enjoy your trip.
