If you're interested in staying in Yosemite, the park has accommodations ranging from the Ahwahnee Lodge, to cabins to tents. www.yosemitepark.com Now I do have friends who've stayed in the tents and love it, but I never could figure out how to get all my stuff in the "bear lockers" so I've always stayed in nearby Oakhurst. Last time we stayed at the Best Western Yosemite Gateway Inn (around 15 miles from the south entrance) plenty of room and no bear lockers.
