it&#39;s quite difficult for nonrev travel even on Delta to our African destinations. there are frequent embargoes on flights. Is she the employee? If you&#39;re the companion, you can take your chances but the fees are $$ plus visas in some cases--on top of the mileage. If she&#39;s going for work on your companion pass, that&#39;s a no-no. You can lose pass priv and/or be terminated.

She&#39;s not an employee...a friend of mine suggested I get on as his travel companion while we try the long distance thing. Neither she nor I would be traveling for business. Thanks for the info though!
