    I think it would be between C and D as A and B are too domestic and my guess would be Pandemonium Scareways as BA didn't exist in the early days and BOAC ( Better on a Camel ) / BEA ( Back every afternoon ) were more rivals than partners and although they had the network they didn't have the business forethought.

    My guess would be however I believe the 25000 were Parisiennes under the mis-understanding that he was carrying a supply of CocaCola and the ranks of Policemen were in fact French Customs officials there to ensure that if he was he would declare it at customs!!

    All right contestants, it's time for the final quiz question.
    This question is worth double points, so it's still anybody's game.

    7--Who said it? Identify the speaker.

    "Pilots take no special joy in walking. Pilots like flying."
    <UL TYPE=SQUARE>
    A--Neil Armstrong
    B--John Travolta
    C--Chuck Yeager
    D--Answer given by pilot friend when asked why he doesn't jog.[/list]

    A for Armstrong.

    I'd also like to lodge a protest at Q4. The Graf Zeppelin was flying around the world in 1929. Just because it wasn't a "flight" and just because it wasn't an airline as such, shouldn't exclude it from being the first.
