Thanks! By the way, you mentioned a yearly fee in another thread... how much is that, roughly? I remember it was ~$50 when I looked through the new NW/DL combined rules, hopefully it's not too far off from that...

Brian, last I remember both Delta and United have a $200 max (plus tax) opt in fee. United is something like $50 per person (you/wife/kids/parents) and delta is $100 for 1st person and $50 for each additional person. Again remember there is a max so big families get a better deal. After the delta/nw merger they also now allow step parents also.Tony

DL is only $50yr for complete entourage of pass riders, including 8 buddy passes. There is a yield fare based travel companion option, as well.
In 11 years, I have never seen DL charges you mention above--maybe that was regional line or NW policy?

I would guess the charges we have are the deal between Delta and Skywest. Anyways, for us the above mentioned fees are what we have to pay to fly.
Brian, I also believe that you can fly Delta connection operated by skywest flights but you would have to pay the delta fee to be able to fly those, you do not get any mainline delta benefits.
