Default New Food Discovery in MKE

I was heading back to ATL from LAX and had to detour via MSP/MKE and found a fantastic bar/restaurant in MKE. Near SWA Term C.

Hmmm, a good thin crust pizza, I don’t know about that. Give me deep dish and a knife and a fork.

    Let the debate begin

Undecided. Sometimes a nice thick pan or enormous Chicago deep dish pizza sounds awesome, and is pretty darn filling to boot. Other times you want to turn down the crust and make room for what's on top of it, in which case, thin is in.

If anyone comes out to DEN, I'll take you to Ian's Pizza. Thin crust with some REALLY strange (but very delicious) topping combinations. Sure, they have the usual cheese, sausage, and pepperoni, but do you know who gets that? People who can't tolerate a slight adventure. Their specialties include blue cheese and mushroom, buffalo chicken, chicken burrito, some kind of sweet potato chorizo slice (can't remember what else was on it) and of course, from their native land of Madison, WI, the carb-o-licious mac-n-cheese pizza.

    Deep-dish devotees, where are you?
That buttery, flaky, deep crust, topped with cheese, toppings, tomato sauce …*sigh*
    I know I’m not alone.
Come on deep-dish pizza lovers! Show your colors!

Don't knock it 'til you've tried it! If any of you come to DEN (even if for this very post alone) I will personally pick you up from the airport, take you to Ian's downtown, buy you a slice, and take you back.

Thin plain cheese pizza …. not for me. The beauty of pizza is the infinite possibilities.
Give me deep dish, pepperoni, mushrooms, green peppers & onions (Chicago classic)
Now that’s your Chicago carry-on souvenir.
