Shaun Walker just wanted to make a change to his AA (SEA-PBI) flight, so he went on the AA app and was given some interesting choices.
Option #1 an 11h 23m 2 stops (IBD, CLT) for $639
Option #2 a 7hr 42m 1 stop (DFW) for $2,147,483,647
Now I know what you're thinking, option #2 seems a little pricy for a SEA-PBI flight, even in F. Well I did too and it got me to thinking what could make a flight worth 2 billion dollars and I came up with "SPACE".
Blue Origin is a private space flight company (launch site in Texas), and sells suborbital ten-minute flights for around one million dollars - now add in transportation to/from the launch site, a few extras like a custom space suit, a champagne toast, a few snacks and the cost adds up to 2 billion before you know it.
Full disclosure: It was reported that Shaun was using a (third party app) and this $2 billion dollar fee was a coding error made by the third party - Something about that #2147483647
But you have to admit, I made a very good case for a 2 billion dollar flight
