Hello, I found this forum via a Google search. It doesn't seem that active as I see posts several years old and very few recent ones. I am trying to get info re: nonrev travel to Argentina. Can anyone post any links to any other helpful nonrev message boards?
    Thanks in advance,
    Laura

Yes, but I found myself looking at other threads only to see that they were posted 4 years ago! If there are only a few new threads a year, I assumed that this isn't a very active forum and thought maybe nonrev travelers also post/read other boards that might be helpful as well. I do find the posts interesting here though, I just feel a time crunch. Thanks.

    Laura,

What would you like to know? Are you travelling from the US or Europe?

You are very correct. This forum is basically very dull and inactive. I check around once in a few months, post a bit and check out for another few months. Basically, the way I see it, you are on your own as a nonrev, don't depend on heresay, just do what you are going to do. Roll the dice, hold your breath and check the computer as best as possible, make your phone calls. I connected GUM-HNL but you wouldn't believe the size of the standby list and many bodies ahead of me, and the flight fully booked, but guess what. People just didn't show, and they called our name. You just don't know.

If you search on key words you're going to get old threads. There are hundreds of new posts here each year. The Nonrev Forum receives 30,000 to 70,000 page views per month. We just need more nonrevs to share information and trip reports and not just come and lurk when they're in a time crunch to find information.

So please come back and let us know how your trip went, tell us the best stuff to do, best prices and activities. You can even post some photos.

Thank you D_Flash. My brother is getting married in Argentina. We are hoping to nonrev from Atlanta to Buenos Aires via Delta. My husband is a Delta employee and family on my side were hoping to use buddy passes. My brother is flexible on dates for the wedding. Would like to have as many family members come as possible. But seat availability might mean the neices and nephews might not be able to come. I was hoping this board (specifically South American section) might have some experience/insight into what is best time of year to nonrev to BA.
    TIA

    GAJayhawks,

Sorry for the late answer, a vacation got in the way of it...

For BA, I have noticed it is busy year rond, especially to Europe as there are few direct flights. In March the flights to GRU for europe were fine, and the BA and LH flights from GRU to EZE are generally fine as well. So in the end, for non rev to south america GRU might be the safest bet. From Europe that is
