Can somebody recommend good places to stay (preferably for someone on a tight budget) at the following places:
San Jose Downton, Near Arenal volcano and Manuel Antonio park. These are the places I am planning to visit on my trip to Costa rica during thxgiving.

You might want to dig into Tripadvisor.com by area and get some local help.

Try ' Casa 69, ' some of my colleagues give it great reviews. It's a private home turned into a B&B, the host is supposed to be very nice and helpful, and they are inexpensive and right in town. You can Google the name and their website will come up. Good luck!
