    Brazil in the past couple of years has had a surge in LCC type carriers, TAM is considered a full service carrier so I they would be on the pricey end of the scale..
    Some lCC's in Brazil include - Gol (as menitoned above), Azul (founded by the B6 founder), webjet, TRIP, etc etc Some of these websites might be in Portugues only.

    - Avianca Brazil, Im sure there is more, but I believe Varig and GOL merged their operations.
    Brazil as you mentioned is a large country so they do have a host of airlines. My airline only has ID 90 agreements with TAM and GOL so apparently ZED agreemends are not common in Brazil.

    Thanks to all for the info. I've been going thru the various sites. And brushing up on my very limited Portuguese as a number of the airlines don't have English versions on their websites as Chepos mentioned. Problem is I don't want to end up flying to a destination just because of a low airfare. I have a few places in mind and now trying to carve out an itinerary. Oh how I miss Varig. My last trip to Brazil I had a handful of Varig ZED tickets some of which I didn't even use

    ook at the "ticketing" requirements. You don't need a positive space ticket to issue a Brazil Airpass, as far as I know.

    Call their Call Center (USA: +1 888 2FLYTAM) and ask for Brazil Airpass.

    Ticketing
    • Valid for sales and ticketing only outside of Brazil (purchase and ticketing).
    • Only one Airpass may be purchased per passenger in conjunction with the international ticket (including AD/ID and award tickets).
    • The Airpass ticket must be issued separately and must include a cross-reference of the international ticket sold in conjunction with the Airpass.
    • Applicable taxes (airport tax, security and additional taxes) must be charged when issuing the Airpass.
    • Tickets are non-endorsable/nontransferable.
    • PTA is not permitted.
    • TAM BAP / NON END must be shown in the endorsement/restriction box.
    • Fare basis – WBRPAST, LBRPAST, VBRPAST, QBRPAST or WBR2PAST, LBR2PAST, VBR2PAST, QBR2PAST.
    • Fare constructions and combinations are not permitted
    Note: The ticketing time-limit and the time-limit automatically generated by the reservation system may be different. The most restrictive date prevails.
